Job summary

Kelly Services in La Vergne, TN is hiring a Machine Operator for the 3rd shift (11:00 PM–7:00 AM). Training begins on 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM) then transitions to the 3rd shift.

You will set up and operate grinding machines, inspect parts, document production, and ensure safety and quality in a climate-controlled facility. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and some grinding experience, with good teamwork and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous grinding machine experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 33 lbs.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, change, and dress grinding wheels.
• Inspect and measure parts for quality and accuracy.
• Troubleshoot basic machine issues.

Location: LaVergne,TN

Pay: $19-$23/hr

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday | 11:00 PM-7:00 AM

Training Provided

Initial training will take place on 1st shift (Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM) for a few weeks before transitioning to the regular 3rd shift schedule.
