Job Details:

• Typical schedule is Monday-Thursday 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. (Busy season may include Fridays)
• The Machine Operator is responsible for the daily setup and operation of fabricating and assembling structural metal products.

Essential Job Functions:

• Set up and operate fabrication machines (e.g., Stamtec, Floor machine, etc.) for routine work.
• Load, install, and correctly set up the tools required.
• Safely load sheet metal into machine, unload fabricated product, and stack safely and securely.
• Verify conformance of workpieces to specifications using measuring tools.
• Make routine decisions and use problem-solving skills to resolve basic manufacturing issues.
• Operate hand & power tools, forklift, and other equipment as required to complete projects.

Qualifications:

• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Fabrication/machine operating background is a plus.
• Competent at basic dimensional measuring and math.

Physical Demands:

• Walking, standing, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, stooping, reaching, and handling regularly.
• Working near moving mechanical parts, noise, and outdoor elements.

Pre-employment drug screens required.
