Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Medical Production Operator/Manufacturing Technician for the Hopkins, MN facility. The role involves GMP manufacturing, packaging, and inspection of pharmaceutical products on the 2nd shift (4:20pm-2:50am, M-Thu).

The technician will document activities and operate both manual and automated equipment to meet quality and production targets. Requirements include a high school diploma and 1 year of equipment operation experience in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 1 year of equipment operation and troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Ability to work in a controlled or clean room environment requiring special gowning.
  • Critical understanding of the importance of documentation and data traceability.
  • Ability to work safely and responsibly in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with SOPs in a manufacturing or assembling environment, preferably pharmaceutical.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure product quality and complete documentation according to GDP and cGMP.
  • Receive and distribute materials and supplies in the manufacturing area.
  • Operate manual and automated equipment for assembly, packaging and inspection.
  • Move materials within the Production area and load/unload materials from stations.
  • Reset faults on equipment and monitor inputs/outputs; record setup/run information.
  • Complete training on time and follow SOPs/WIs to meet manufacturing goals.

Medical Production Operator/ Manufacturing Technician – Hopkins, MN

2 nd shift: 4:20pm-2:50am, M-Thu

Pay Rate: $25.60

POSITION SUMMARY: The Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for performing routine tasks for the GMP manufacturing and packaging of pharmaceutical products. This individual is responsible for the documentation and the hands‑on execution of production activities related to assembly, final packaging, and inspection of manufactured pharmaceutical products. This individual operates in accordance with Antares Pharma policies and procedures, environmental, health, safety, and cGMP guidelines.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for quality of products and documentation. Adheres to all manufacturing process and quality requirements.
  • Receives and distributes materials and supplies in the manufacturing area.
  • Works with manual as well as automated equipment to complete assembly, final packaging, and inspection of pharmaceutical products.
  • Moves materials within the Production area.
  • Responsible for maintaining uninterrupted loading/unloading of materials and assembled devices from multiple stations of an automated assembly process.
  • Interacts with automated equipment to perform basic fault resetting, monitoring of material inputs/outputs and entering setup/run information.
  • Completes assigned training prior to due dates.
  • Assembles products following all current Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS) and Work Instructions (WIs), while meeting manufacturing goals and metrics.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records following Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) guidelines including training files and shop floor paperwork.
  • Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 1 year of equipment operation and troubleshooting experience in amanufacturing setting.
  • Ability to work in a controlled or clean room environment requiring special gowning.
  • Critical understanding of the importance of documentation and data traceability.
  • Ability to work safely and responsibly in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with executing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in a manufacturing or assembling environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Demonstrates attention to detail.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft 365)
  • Working knowledge of Good Documentation and good Manufacturing Practices preferred
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent organizational and multi‑tasking skills
  • Able to perform physical activity such as standing for long periods of time, walking, and working with hands.
