Job Title: Machine Operator – B Shift (Day)

Type: Contract (12 months)

Summary

The Machine Operator will perform operations to maintain product quality and production levels in a high-speed manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining equipment, inspecting products, packaging, handling raw materials/finished goods, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment and process functions.
• Monitor machine functions and identify any out-of-control conditions.
• Conduct inspections and perform process tests.
• Produce, visually inspect, and package products.
• Maintain equipment as per preventive maintenance schedules.
• Clean machines and work areas regularly.
• Respond to and reset alarms as required.
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
• Communicate effectively with team members to sustain productivity.
• Maintain certifications on assigned equipment.
• Ensure compliance with company safety, quality, and operational policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Shift Leader.

Requirements

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED (required)

Experience:

• Preferred: 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing environment

Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to remain alert in a fast-paced environment.
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
