We are looking for an Onsite Machine Operator to add value to our team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform all duties of the rod loader.
2. Adjust machine components to regulate speeds, pressures, temperatures, and flow of materials or ingredients.
3. Press control buttons to activate machinery and equipment.
4. Examine, measure, and weigh materials or products to verify conformance to standards, using measuring devices such as templates, micrometers, or scales.
5. Monitor machine operations and observe lights and gauges to detect malfunctions.
6. Clear jams and remove defective or substandard materials or products.
7. Notify supervisors when extruded filaments fail to meet standards.
8. Record and maintain production data such as meter readings, quantities, types, and dimensions of materials produced.
9. Review work orders, specifications, or instructions to determine materials, ingredients, procedures, components, settings, and adjustments for extruding, forming, pressing, or compacting machines.
10. Clean dies, arbors, compression chambers, and molds using swabs, sponges, or air hoses.
11. Synchronize speeds of machine sections when producing products involving several steps or processes.
12. Select and install machine components such as dies, molds, and cutters, according to specifications, using hand tools and measuring devices.
13. Move materials, supplies, components, and finished products between storage and work areas using racks, hoists, and hand trucks.
14. Train new team members as instructed by supervisor.
15. Assist the SSW Management Team as requested.
16. Learn other positions such as Rod Loader, Scale Operator, and Material Handler.

Position Supervised or Directed:

• Work requires self-supervision and responsibility.
• Supervised by Cell Lead Person and Plant Floor Supervisor.
• Subject to corrective measures by Quality Control Staff.
• Work activities may be observed by top management.

Qualifications and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Six months or more of manufacturing experience.

General Requirements:

• Availability to work Monday to Friday.
• Detail-oriented and hands-on approach.

Working Conditions:

• Manufacturing environment.
• Physical ability required: standing, lifting, carrying, reaching, working in non-climate-controlled areas.
• Use of hearing protection due to noise.
• Use of safety glasses due to metal particles, burrs, and sparks.
