Qualifications

  • Expérience de 5 ans dans un environnement manufacturier ou d'emballage.

Job description

Under the direction of the Manager / supervisor, the Machine Operator is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of a packaging line and adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) to assure product quality and quantity.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate machinery to fabricate, manufacture, assemble, and/or move products.
  • Maintain and monitor machines to ensure proper functioning.
  • Conduct periodic quality checks as needed.
  • Verify the availability of adequate materials and supplies to complete operations.
  • Adjust machines for changeovers, different functions, or other production needs.
  • Prior experience operating machinery and/or power tools is preferred.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Be organized, able to multitask, and prioritize effectively.
  • Possess knowledge of supervisory practices and principles.
  • Have 5 or more years of experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment (required).
  • Experience with FDA and GMP regulated industries is a plus.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change.
  • Customer/associate-focused and result-driven.
  • Make sound decisions proactively with discretion.
  • Work additional shifts beyond the regular workweek as needed.
  • Must comply with GMP requirements; specific functions and documents will be discussed during GMP and on-the-job training.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for 8 hours.
  • Able to work in a physically demanding environment.
