Job summary

ManpowerGroup in Glasgow, KY seeks a Machine Operator to join a manufacturing team. You will operate production machinery, follow work orders and blueprints, and set up equipment for runs.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license, ability to read and follow instructions, basic math, and the ability to lift up to 70 pounds while standing. Night shift hours are 6 PM–6 AM with built-in overtime.

Job description

Our client, manufacturing industry is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting automotive manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Glasgow, KY

Pay Range: $19.89

Shift: Night Shift (6PM-6AM, 12-hour shifts with built-in overtime)

What's the Job?

• Operate production machinery in a safe and efficient manner
• Follow written work orders, blueprints, and process specifications
• Set up and adjust machines for production runs
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections
• Identify and report quality issues or material defects
