Job Title: Machine Operator
Location: Gastonia, NC
Shifts: 1st shift or 2nd shift
Pay: $17/h+ depending on experience

Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined Machine Operator to join our custom metal fabrication shop. This is a hands-on role where you will operate a variety of machines used in the fabrication of custom metal components. Some experience is required, but we are willing to provide training for the right candidate who is eager to learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and learn multiple machines including press brakes, shears, saws, CNC equipment, and other metal fabrication tools
• Assist in setting up machines and making minor adjustments as needed
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, or schematics to ensure accuracy
• Perform quality checks on finished parts to meet specifications
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines

Requirements:

• Prior experience in manufacturing or machine operation
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new equipment
• Ability to read basic measurements and use hand tools
• Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
