Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East in Flint, MI seeks a Manufacturing Operator to load raw casting parts, check measurements, and follow the control plan to maintain quality.

Responsibilities

• Load raw casting parts on entrance conveyors to maintain production pace and quality.
• Check part measurements and equipment per control plan and tooling parts.
• Make offset adjustments to control process on established dimensions; change inserts per Tooling Charts and/or tool life.
• Start up robot after faults and tool changes; perform daily maintenance on operator check sheet.
• Suggest improvements to operator procedures and adhere to all work and safety rules.

• Checking part measurements and equipment, following control plan and tooling parts
• Making offset adjustments to control process on established dimensions Changing inserts according to Tooling Charts and/or programmed tool life
• Starting up robot after every fault and insert change and doing maintenance activities on daily operator check sheet
• Make suggestions to improve the operator procedures. Follow all work and safety rules.
• Must be able lift, reach, and pull 30-50 lbs.
• The employee is required to stand, walk, lift, and reach with hands and arms.
• Must be able to read, understand and verbally communicate work instructions.
