Job summary

Dynacast, LLC, a Form Technologies Company, is seeking Die Casting Machine Operators for all three shifts to operate casting/molding equipment and support quality control. Starting pay is $18 per hour, with a 10% premium on 2nd shift and a 15% premium on 3rd shift, reflecting night shift allowances.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and related machine operation experience. Applicants should be capable of basic maintenance tasks and willing to assist teammates as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 3–6 months related experience or training preferred.
• Proven experience as a machine operator; injection molding experience preferred.
• Ability to perform general maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the die is running properly; gather first off pieces and deliver to quality for inspection.
• Observe and check assigned casting/molding machine operations.
• Observe quality of products for defects such as excessive flash and surface finish.
• Assist other operators as needed; perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Pay

Starting at $18/hr., based on experience. We offer a 10% night shift premium for 2nd shift and a 15% night shift premium for 3rd shift.

Summary of Position

Performs operation of casting/molding machines and related equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the die is running properly. Gather first off pieces following set up and deliver to quality for inspection.
• Observe and check assigned casting/molding machine operations.
• Observe quality of products for excessive flash, surface finish of casting and other obvious or specifically cautioned defects.
• Help other operators as needed.
• Perform other duties that may be assigned by the department supervisor or manager.

Education / Experience

High school diploma/general education degree (GED); and/or three to six months related experience or training preferred. Proven experience as a machine operator. Experience in injection molding preferred. Ability to perform general maintenance tasks.
