Job description

Randstad, in partnership with our client PMI, is seeking manufacturing machine operators to produce and package Zyn nicotine pouches. PMI is transforming its business and focusing on smoke-free products that aim to improve the lives of a billion smokers worldwide. This role offers significant job opportunities amid large-scale change.

Schedule & Compensation

• Schedule: 3 days on, 4 days off (one week); 4 days on, 3 days off (next week)
• Pay: $23 per hour, with differential for night and Sunday shifts
• Shift: Must be able to work both days and nights
• Work hours: 8 AM - 12 AM

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to stand for 12 hours and lift up to 45 lbs
• Availability to work weekends
• 1 year of machine operation experience preferred

Responsibilities

1. Operate and maintain making and packing equipment
2. Control production processes from a computer terminal
3. Load raw materials and pack materials onto the line
4. Perform quality and calibration checks
5. Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime
6. Collaborate with teams to resolve production issues and improve processes
7. Meet or exceed production targets and quality standards
8. Follow job procedures and work instructions accurately
