Job Description: Machine Operator at Röchling Group

About the Role

Under the supervision of the Production Manager, support department efforts to ensure continuous operation of product manufacturing by performing duties personally or through department production employees. Responsibilities include:

• Understanding all aspects and operating parameters of the machine
• Performing setup and changeover
• Preparing and installing all dies and spreader blocks
• Preparing all resin mixes
• Starting up and shutting down machinery
• Cleaning hoppers, dies, ovens, saws, and other equipment
• Accurately completing all reporting paperwork
• Following all safety rules, regulations, and procedures
• Identifying, measuring, and labeling acceptable finished products
• Producing finished products within specifications

Various machine operator positions are available, ranging from entry level to advanced, including:

• Press Operator
• Ram Extrusion Operator
• Sheet Extrusion Operator
• Susta Extrusion Operator

The positions operate on a 12-hour shift (6 pm - 6 am) on a 2-2-3 schedule, with a competitive wage and benefits package, including a $1.00 shift premium for all hours worked from 6 pm to 6 am.
