Position Overview

GE Vernova is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to operate winding machines for producing internal components of instrument transformers. The ideal candidate will have experience with machine operation, particularly winding machines, and be proficient with basic electrical testing tools such as multimeters to verify product quality.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor winding machines to produce coils and windings for internal components of instrument transformers.
• Adjust machine settings to ensure proper winding speed, tension, and material alignment.
• Monitor production processes to maintain quality and consistency.
• Perform basic electrical tests using multimeters to verify specifications and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and perform minor repairs.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation of machine settings and adjustments.
