Job summary

Kellanova is hiring a Night Shift Machine Operator in Cary, NC to help us produce Cheez-It snacks. You will work 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 rotation, at $22.41 per hour. Precision, safety, and quality are essential as you support high-volume manufacturing.

Your duties include packing finished goods, inspecting and minor adjusting of equipment, following safety rules, and collaborating with teammates to reach daily goals.

Join our team as a night shift Machine Operator in Cary, NC, where you will use your talent for all things technical to help us produce Cheez-It products. In this role you will work 6pm-6am on a 2.2.3 rotation, with an hourly pay rate of $22.41.

• Packing with Care– Produce high-quality finished goods for our consumers. As you create excellent products, you'll also ensure efficient and safe machine operation.


• Managing Machine Performance– Inspect equipment and perform basic adjustments and preventative maintenance. With your help, we'll continue to lead the way in efficiency and safety!


• Following Best Practices - Follow all company safety rules and good manufacturing practices as you perform key tasks. Your passion for precision and ability to work as directed will assure your success.


• Develop Partnerships – Collaborate with people from all walks of life in a teamwork-oriented environment. We'll rely on you to show strong communication skills, flexibility, and openness to partnering with others to achieve goals.

We're Looking for Someone With

• Ability to work nights on a 12-hour shift.


• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.


• Ability to stand for long hours and be able to lift up to 50 pounds at or above the waist unassisted.


• Demonstrated ability to operate machinery.


• Regular attendance and punctuality in accordance with Company policies. Additionally, the ability to interact well with other employees and work overtime, as necessary, is required.
