Job summary

JSP is hiring a Resins Machine Operator at our Butler, Pennsylvania location. The role involves monitoring and recording results as foam material is packaged and loaded for customer orders, while ensuring quality and on-time delivery. A rotating 12-hour shift is required (7a–7p and 7p–7a).

New pay rate is $20 per hour with a $1000 sign-on bonus and shift differential of $0.75 for hours 3p–7a. Benefits include health coverage, life/disability insurance, 401k matching, holidays, PTO after 90 days,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to operate a forklift and wear PPE.
• Familiarity with ISO-14001 and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Use computer system to move foam material through piping system.
• Package material for orders and create proper labeling.
• Complete documentation per ISO/IATF guidelines.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues (e.g., plugged lines, valves).
• Load/unload trucks using forklift (training provided).
• Perform clean outs of storage bags.
• Cross-train and back-up other resin operators.
• Maintain safety in a manufacturing setting.
• Other duties as assigned.

Our Butler, Pennsylvania location is in need of a Resins Machine Operator to monitor and record results of material being packaged and loaded for customer orders while maintaining quality and on time delivery to meet or exceed customer expectations.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Use computer system to move foam material thru piping system
• Package material for small and bulk customer orders, create proper labeling
• Complete all documentation with precision and accuracy under ISO/IATF guidelines
• Troubleshoot equipment problems; plugged lines, valves, etc.
• Load & unload trucks using forklift (forklift required – will train)
• Perform clean outs of storage bags
• Cross train and act as a back-up to the Resins Operator 2 and/or 3
• Safety in a manufacturing or plant setting
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be able to communicate effectively in person and in writing.
• Must be able to operate a forklift truck, which requires the use of arms and legs, they ability to get onto truck and depth perception to stack and/or move crates or other material.
• Must have finger dexterity and be able to see and hear.
• Must be able to climb and work from a ladder.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to wear/tolerate all PPE equipment; safety shoes, ear plugs and safety glasses.
• Must be able to come to work as scheduled on a regular basis and be able to work scheduled shifts as necessary, including overtime, mandatory and otherwise.
• Performs responsibilities in compliance with ISO-14001 policies, quality standards and procedures and OSHA regulations.
• A high school diploma or GED is required
• Must be 18 years or older to be considered for employment
