Job summary

JSP in Butler, PA is seeking a Resins Machine Operator to monitor and record results of foam materials being packaged for customer orders, ensuring quality and on-time delivery.

The role requires 12-hour rotating shifts (7a-7p and 7p-7a) with a $1,000 sign-on bonus and a pay rate of $20 per hour, plus a shift differential for certain hours. Benefits include health coverage, 401k match, and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Forklift operation experience and willingness to train.
• Able to wear PPE and safety equipment.

Responsibilities

• Move foam material through piping system using computer system.
• Package material for orders and label correctly.
• Complete ISO/IATF documentation accurately.
• Troubleshoot equipment and resolve line issues.
• Load/unload trucks with forklift; forklift training provided.
• Perform clean outs of storage bags.
• Cross-train to support other Resins Operator levels.
• Maintain safety in a manufacturing environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Shift Differential: + $.75/hour for all hours worked from 3p-7a

Our Butler, Pennsylvania location is in need of a Resins Machine Operator to monitor and record results of material being packaged and loaded for customer orders while maintaining quality and on time delivery to meet or exceed customer expectations.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Use computer system to move foam material thru piping system
• Package material for small and bulk customer orders, create proper labeling
• Complete all documentation with precision and accuracy under ISO/IATF guidelines
• Troubleshoot equipment problems; plugged lines, valves, etc.
• Load & unload trucks using forklift (forklift required – will train)
• Perform clean outs of storage bags
• Cross train and act as a back‑up to the Resins Operator 2 and/or 3
• Safety in a manufacturing or plant setting
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be able to communicate effectively in person and in writing.
• Must be able to operate a forklift truck, which requires the use of arms and legs, they ability to get onto truck and depth perception to stack and/or move crates or other material.
• Must have finger dexterity and be able to see and hear.
• Must be able to climb and work from a ladder.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to wear/tolerate all PPE equipment; safety shoes, ear plugs and safety glasses.
• Must be able to come to work as scheduled on a regular basis and be able to work scheduled shifts as necessary, including overtime, mandatory and otherwise.
• Performs responsibilities in compliance with ISO-14001 policies, quality standards and procedures and OSHA regulations.
• A high school diploma or GED is required
• Must be 18 years or older to be considered for employment
