Job summary

JSP in Butler, PA is seeking Production Team Members to operate foam molding equipment and produce parts that meet customer specifications. This full-time role offers a rotating 8-hour schedule (6:50a-3p, 2:50p-11p, 10:50p-7a) with overtime as needed and a $18.50 per hour base pay plus a $0.75 shift differential.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively in person and in writing.
• Must be able to operate a forklift truck with required dexterity and be able to get onto the truck.
• Must have finger dexterity and good vision/hearing.
• Must be able to climb and work from a ladder.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must wear/tolerate PPE: safety shoes, ear plugs, safety glasses.
• Must be able to come to scheduled shifts, including overtime.
• Performs responsibilities in compliance with ISO/IAFT/ISO-14001 policies and OSHA regulations.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Press operation – counting and visually inspecting foam parts.
• Packing – building boxes, packing, shrink wrap, labeling, pallets.
• Learn to perform quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications.
• Fork truck operation (training provided).
• Complete documentation under ISO/IAFT guidelines.
• Operate all equipment in the Molding department.
• Maintain safety in a manufacturing environment.

• Safety in a manufacturing or plant setting

Requirements

• Must be able to communicate effectively in person and in writing.
• Must be able to operate a forklift truck, which requires the use of arms and legs, they ability to get onto truck and depth perception to stack and/or move crates or other material.
• Must have finger dexterity and be able to see and hear.
• Must be able to climb and work from a ladder.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to wear/tolerate all PPE equipment; safety shoes, ear plugs and safety glasses.
• Must be able to come to work as scheduled on a regular basis and be able to work scheduled shifts as necessary, including overtime, mandatory and otherwise.
• Performs responsibilities in compliance with ISO-14001 policies, quality standards and procedures and OSHA regulations.
• Must be 18 years or older to be considered for employment
