Job description

Machine Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

Williams International, a privately-owned company specializing in jet engine development and manufacturing for military and commercial aircraft, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, repair, and operate various computerized numerical control (CNC) and manual machines, including mills, lathes, CMM, laser welders, plasma spray, heat treat, EDM, X-Ray, robotic systems, drills, grinders, hone, lap, deburr, and air compressors.
• Perform advanced maintenance on inspection and machining equipment, interpret blueprints and specifications, and troubleshoot equipment and facility issues.
• Develop and recommend process and procedural improvements; potentially train and guide lower-skilled team members.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; pursuing a degree or certificate in a relevant technical discipline is a plus.
• 1-3 years of maintenance experience with CNC tool systems or similar precision machinery, or 3-5 years of related maintenance or manufacturing experience.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance are required.
