Job summary

Integer Holdings Corporation is seeking a maintenance technician for first shift to troubleshoot and maintain production equipment and general facilities. You will handle mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, performing preventive maintenance and repairs across multiple facilities.

Requirements include 7+ years of relevant experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and knowledge of CMMS and building automation.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: high school graduate or equivalent; an associate degree is preferred.
• 7 years of maintenance experience in commercial, industrial, or manufacturing settings.
• Knowledge of refrigeration, mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Solid troubleshooting skills and basic electrical knowledge; CMMS and building automation familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain production equipment and related facilities systems.
• Perform monthly preventive maintenance and inspections on major facility equipment.
• Disassemble, repair, replace, and reassemble equipment; work with outside contractors when needed.
• Assist other departments and engineers on facility and mechanical tasks.
• Identify and report conditions; train associates on production equipment as needed.

Job Summary: The primary purpose of this job is to troubleshoot and maintain production equipment along with performing basic general facilities maintenance, service and repairs to equipment and machinery. We are looking for individuals with experience in production equipment, mechanical and electrical equipment, and mechanical and hydraulic presses.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities

1. Adheres to Integer’s Values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.
2. Performs monthly preventive maintenance and inspections on all major facility equipment within one or more facilities.
3. Apply skills, experience and general knowledge to a wide range of complex tasks to troubleshoot (including Hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical issues with production operations equipment), adjust, install, repair, dissemble, replace, and reassemble and maintain equipment or facilities.
4. Works with outside contractors when necessary which may include procuring parts and services.
5. Performs all general maintenance functions.
6. May assist other departments and engineers with facility and mechanical tasks.
7. Plans and conducts work requiring judgment in independent evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation/modification of standard techniques, procedures and criteria.
8. Investigates, develops, and implements new process technologies of small to moderate scope.
9. Devises new solution to problems encountered.
10. Work independently to perform and complete assigned work orders in a timely manner.
11. May perform training of Associates on production equipment.
12. May identify electrical issues in systems or equipment as they occur.
13. May perform unsupervised “walk through” of facility to monitor, check and report on conditions.
14. Performs other functions as required.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Education: High school graduate or equivalent. Associates degree preferred.
• Minimum Experience: 7 years of maintenance experience in commercial, industrial, or manufacturing environment.
• Specialized Knowledge: Knowledge of refrigeration and mechanical systems and solid trouble-shooting skills. Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, pneumatic & hydraulic pressure systems. Must possess excellent mechanical and basic electrical knowledge, aptitude, and principles. Knowledge of CMMS and building automation systems is preferred.
• Special Skills: Knowledge of basic computer and Microsoft Office applications. Self motivated and able to work in a team environment and work with other departments.

Pay Range: $23.40 - $34.32 #IND1 Our total rewards program is designed to attract, retain, and motivate associates to contribute to Integer’s success. Our compensation program includes base wages, a cash-based incentive program supporting our pay-for-performance philosophy, overtime pay, shift differentials, and call-in pay, when applicable. We provide a comprehensive benefits package with immediate eligibility including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and adoption benefits. Parental leave is available after one year. Optional employee-paid programs include supplemental life insurance, critical illness, hospital indemnity and accident insurance. Employees are immediately eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan with company matching contributions.
