Job summary

Integer Holdings Corporation is seeking a second shift assembler to support the manufacture and inspection of medical device components. You will set up equipment, assemble parts according to specifications, and document results in quality systems.

The role requires a high school diploma and prior manufacturing experience, with English literacy to follow detailed instructions. The position offers a 2nd shift (4:00pm-2:30am) with a 22% shift differential and strong benefits.

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Ability to read in English, comprehend and follow detailed instructions.
  • Ability to read blueprints preferred.
  • Familiarity with microscopes and measuring devices preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Sets up equipment needed for assembly/inspection as per process specification.
  • Assembles component parts as per print.
  • Utilizes both manual and automated machine operation.
  • Visual and/or dimensional inspection of parts with microscope or completed assemblies.
  • Identifies and escalates quality non-conformances.
  • Completes required documentation.
  • May package product for shipment.
  • Participates in team activities focusing on continuous improvement.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
  • Adheres to Integer Values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Sets up equipment needed for assembly/inspection as per process specification.
  • Works under close Supervision where duties are clearly defined.
  • Assembles component parts as per print.
  • Utilizes both manual and automated machine operation.
  • Visually and/or dimensionally inspects parts with the aid of a microscope and/or completed assemblies for conformance to specifications.
  • Identifies and escalates quality non-conformances.
  • Completes required documentation.
  • May package product for shipment.
  • Participates in team activity focusing on continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Expands skill base through on-the-job training, cross training, job rotations, and classroom instruction.
  • Performs other functions as required.
Education & Experience:

Minimum Education: High school graduate or equivalent.

Minimum Experience: Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Knowledge & Skills:
  • Ability to read in English, comprehend and follow detailed instructions.
  • Ability to read blueprints preferred.
  • Familiarity with microscopes and measuring devices preferred.
  • Previous light assembly experience preferred.
Shift and Hour Information:

This is a 2nd shift position with the hours of 4:00pm-2:30am Monday through Thursday.

Salary Range:

Salary range for this position is $16.66-$24.43 with a 22% shift differential
