Job summary

Barleans is seeking a maintenance technician to ensure proper maintenance and operational status of our Ferndale, WA plant equipment and support systems. This onsite role operates Monday through Thursday, 4 PM to 2:30 AM, with on-call availability as needed.

The technician will perform repairs, monitor equipment and building systems, and uphold safety standards and company policies while communicating effectively with vendors and coworkers in English.

SUMMARY

This position ensures proper maintenance and operational status of equipment. Affected equipment includes manufacturing equipment and support systems utilized by the plant.

This position is onsite at our Ferndale, WA location - Monday-Thursday, 4 PM-2:30 AM.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform a wide variety of machinery repairs and services.
• Monitor operation of plant equipment and systems.
• Monitor and maintain all building systems as assigned.
• Responsible for alerting the Team Leader of any unusual occurrence and/or damage that have taken place or that may occur.
• Maintain a professional manner with all, vendors, contractors, and fellow employees.
• Assure safety standards are used which comply with all company, local, city, state and federal guidelines.
• Ensure compliance of all work related activities in a fair, ethical, and consistent manner.
• Follow established company policies and those outlined in the Employee Handbook.
• Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information in English.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

WORKING CONDITIONS

Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. On-call availability outside of normal working hours as needed.
