Penn United Technologies, Inc. is seeking a skilled Machine Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Sarver, PA.

This full-time role focuses on installing, maintaining, repairing, and inspecting equipment across facilities, following preventive maintenance schedules and ensuring peak machine performance. Candidates should have 5+ years of machinery maintenance experience, with knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, and safe work practices.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment and facility systems with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical & mechanical components on machinery (incl. CNC) such as motors, pumps, bearings.
• Install, repair, rebuild and relocate precision machining equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair machine components.
• Connect wiring and hydraulic lines to install components.
• Set up and operate machines to verify conformance of machined parts to specifications.
• Fabricate parts needed for equipment repairs.

300 N Pike Road - Sarver, PA, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Job Shift: Daylight, Job Category: Maintenance and Repair, Machine Maintenance Specialist Penn United Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking a motivated and skilled full-time Machine Maintenance Specialist to join our team.

This person will be responsible to perform installation, maintenance, repairs, and inspections on various equipment and systems throughout our company’s facilities. This role involves following preventative maintenance schedules, troubleshooting issues, performing repairs to ensure that all machinery and systems remain in safe and proper working order. The Machine Maintenance Specialist plays a vital role by keeping our machinery & equipment operating at peak performance.

What You’ll Do

• Perform routine preventative, predictive maintenance on equipment and/or facility systems, ensuring proper documentation and on-time completion.
• Troubleshoot and perform electrical & mechanical repairs on machinery (including CNC machines) such as rebuilding motors, pumps, replacing bearings, etc…
• Install, repair, rebuild and relocate precision machining equipment
• Troubleshoot and perform electrical & mechanical repairs on machine components
• Connect wiring & hydraulic lines to install electrical and hydraulic components
• Set up and operate machines to verify conformance of machined parts to specifications.
• Fabricate needed parts for equipment repairs

Qualifications

• 5 years machining-equipment maintenance experience (electronics, PLC’s, pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, bearings, and 3 phase wiring) is required
• Solid knowledge of maintenance procedures and equipment
• Thorough knowledge of methods, tools, practices & safety measures related to mechanical and electrical work
• Technical degree related to industrial maintenance or Mechatronics strongly preferred
• Must be able to be on your feet for up to 9 hours/day
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent is required
• Shift: Monday - Friday 6:30 am – 3:00 pm
