Qualifications

• At least 6 years experience as a Machine Learning Engineer, Software Engineer, or Data Engineer.
• Experience deploying machine learning models in a production setting.
• Strong working knowledge of SQL and the ability to write, debug, and optimize distributed SQL queries.

Machine Learning Solutions Architect

Machine Learning Engineers are versatile professionals who ensure data science models are deployed effectively. They own the infrastructure and deployment plans, from building models with customer data to deploying them into production. They provide leadership by recommending suitable technologies and solutions, and possess strong coding skills (Python, Java, Scala) to ensure performance, security, scalability, and robust data integration.

As a Solutions Architect on our Machine Learning Engineering team, your responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing data solutions tailored to customer needs, including model inference, retraining, and monitoring
• Recommending technology and solution designs from application to infrastructure
• Building and operating production data pipelines and environments for data scientists
• Understanding customer technology environments
• Defining deployment strategies and ensuring usability of models
• Collaborating with data scientists to transform data into actionable insights
• Ensuring solution deployability, scalability, and maintainability
• Creating testing strategies and managing deployment processes
• Maintaining product quality

This role might be for you if you have:

• At least 6 years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer, Software Engineer, or Data Engineer
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience deploying machine learning models in production
• Proficiency in Python, Scala, Java, or similar languages
• Strong skills in building robust data pipelines and SQL
• Experience with big data tools like Spark, Snowflake, Databricks
• Knowledge of various data sources and cloud architectures
• Experience with APIs, web frameworks, and full software development lifecycle
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred qualifications include:

• Advanced degrees in data science or related fields
• Hands-on experience with ecosystem technologies and ML libraries
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS Sagemaker, MLflow
