For our client, we are seeking a Machine Learning Scientist 5 - Ads Demand Science to join the team of a leader in the Hospitality & Recreation space.

This role will focus on designing and shipping advanced machine learning solutions that improve media planning and decision-making. You will partner closely with scientists and engineers to build, evaluate, and refine production systems, including conversational AI agents, with an emphasis on measurable performance and strong judgment. The position calls for someone who is comfortable navigating ambiguity, driving ideas into production, and communicating clearly across technical and non-technical audiences.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $466,000 – $750,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Design and ship production ML models and conversational AI agents for media planning.
• Build and evolve systems to evaluate and improve decision quality of models and agents.
• Collaborate with scientists and engineers to ship and iterate on new capabilities.
• Tackle ambiguous problems, propose solutions, and drive them to production.
• Iterate on launched models and agents based on performance data and feedback.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (PhD or Master's) in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• Experience building and shipping ML models or systems in production.
• Proficient in Python and SQL.
• Curious and motivated to learn across ML domains, not attached to a single specialty.
• Strong collaborator energized by building alongside others.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and able to take ownership with minimal oversight.
• Enthusiastic about and compatible with the organization's culture.
