Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join the Data Science and AI Department, working on AI-enabled tools for space enterprise. The role requires building ML models, pipelines, and AI solutions for national security space and civil customers, with on-site work at El Segundo, CA, Chantilly, VA, or Colorado Springs, CO.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in data science or ML, strong Python skills, and the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM field(s)
• 2 years of industry experience in Data Science or Machine Learning
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python
• Development of machine learning models and inference pipelines
• Software development skills including familiarity with machine learning libraries in Python
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux operating systems
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance; U.S. citizenship required
