The Aerospace Corporation in Chantilly, VA seeks a Sr. Mission Management Project Leader (Senior Project Leader – AI/ML) to guide the development of next‑generation SIGINT ground systems.
This onsite role leads Aerospace teams, integrates AI/ML, and aligns with government acquisition goals within SGSPO. Requires TS/SBI/SCI clearance and US citizenship; travel ~30%; Bachelor’s or higher in a related field; 10+ years in acquisition engineering; strong leadership and Agile software development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, physical sciences or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of ground or space systems acquisition engineering experience.
- Experience building and leading high-performing teams of engineering professionals.
Responsibilities
- Integrating Aerospace contributions to US Government leadership to build acquisition strategies.
- Coordinating across ground and mission enterprise segments to meet user needs.
- Building and leading SME teams to develop enhanced mission management technologies.
- Integrating new mission systems and sensors into a flexible architecture.
- Proactively identifying opportunities to leverage AI/ML for improved mission management.
