Job summary

Python Software Foundation is seeking a Middle+ to Senior ML Engineer for an HFT architecture project. The role is fully remote, allowing work from anywhere in the world, with base salary in the range of USD 180,000–240,000 per year.

You will build the end-to-end pipeline from raw order-book records to a validated predictive model, including data prep, feature engineering, training, and out-of-sample measurement, with leakage controls built in.

Qualifications

• You have built and run ML systems, written Python with tests and versioned data.
• Experience handling time series without leakage and large-scale data.

HFT Architecture builds short-horizon price prediction and the trading system around it. This role builds the pipeline from raw order-book records to a fitted, validated model: data preparation, features, training and out-of-sample measurement, reproducible run to run, with leakage controls built in.

Fully remote, from anywhere in the world. Middle+ to senior.

Base salary: USD 180,000–240,000 a year.

You have built and run machine learning systems yourself, write Python with tests and versioned data, handle time series without leakage, and work with tens of millions of rows a day on ordinary hardware.
