Job summary

Python Software Foundation is seeking a Middle+ to Senior ML Engineer for an HFT architecture project. The role is fully remote, allowing work from anywhere in the world, with base salary in the range of USD 180,000–240,000 per year.

You will build the end-to-end pipeline from raw order-book records to a validated predictive model, including data prep, feature engineering, training, and out-of-sample measurement, with leakage controls built in.

Qualifications

• You have built and run ML systems, written Python with tests and versioned data.
• Experience handling time series without leakage and large-scale data.

Responsibilities

• Build pipeline from raw order-book records to a fitted model.
• Perform data preparation, feature engineering, training and out-of-sample evaluation.
• Ensure reproducible runs and leakage controls.
