Job summary

Home Chef is seeking a Machine Lead for the day shift, 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays off. The role oversees production planning, machine coordinators, and troubleshooting, ensuring safe operation of multiple equipment pieces.

Emphasis on safety, team leadership, and efficient production are central to daily duties. Responsibilities include leading operator teams, minimizing downtime, maintaining equipment, and reporting KPI data.

Qualifications

• General high school degree, or equivalent (e.g. GED).
• 2+ years of experience working in Production environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Always keeps safety first while using all equipment.
• Leads and directs machine operator teams while prioritizing workload daily.
• Prioritizes daily production on the equipment to reduce downtime and changeovers.
• Uses advanced knowledge of Production based equipment to ensure optimal usage and maximization of output.
• Maintains and troubleshoots Production equipment when issues arise. Escalates large issues to upper management and maintenance when needed.
