Job summary

HOLT CAT is seeking a Machine Inventory Product Specialist in San Antonio to manage a category of machine inventory, set configurations, and optimize stocking levels. You will source options balancing turns, market share, cost, and profitability while training the sales team in partnership with vendors and other departments.

The role requires deep knowledge of Caterpillar machinery, product offerings, and inventory management strategies, with collaboration across multiple teams to forecast

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in product management or supply chain operations in heavy equipment.
• Strong analytical skills and knowledge of Caterpillar products and inventory practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage a category of machine inventory and set configurations.
• Provide sourcing solutions balancing turns, market share, and profitability.
• Train sales team in partnership with vendors and other departments.
• Collaborate across Deal Team, Worktools, Heavy Rents, and dealers.
• Maintain inventory records and generate reports and dashboards.
