Job Description

We are a local Flexible Packaging Printing company seeking quality-minded individuals to start as Machine Helpers, with motivation to learn and advance to Slitter Operator roles. Candidates must be dependable, quality-conscious, able to read a tape measure down to 1/32 of an inch, and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. This is a 2nd shift position, working four days a week from 4:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., with some overtime as needed. A high school diploma or GED is required. Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting machine operators and learning machine operations.
2. Maintaining proper specifications from layouts, completing necessary reports, and performing departmental housekeeping.
3. Preparing materials for job changes and operating forklifts and clamp trucks.

Machine Operators operate machinery, provide on-the-job training, verify quality, follow specifications from layouts, and perform housekeeping duties. They also operate forklifts and clamp trucks.
