Job summary

Doherty Staffing Solutions in Rogers, MN is seeking a Fabrication Operator for a fast-paced metal fabrication environment. This temporary/contract role offers reliable hours, weekly pay, and hands-on work with CNC programming, CAD, and fabrication equipment.

You will read blueprints, operate routers and panel saws, prepare production packets, and coordinate packaging and shipping instructions, with opportunities for long-term, temp-to-hire conversion where applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience operating fabrication machinery such as routers or panel saws.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Familiarity with CAD software and Excel preferred.
• Strong communication with production teams and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Generate CNC programs from shop drawings using CAD software and Excel.
• Operate fabrication equipment such as panel saws, routers, and LAMs.
• Create assembly drawings to support production processes.
• Prepare fabrication tickets for metal work operations.
• Coordinate production requirements including packaging and shipping instructions.
• Review and revise shop drawings based on production changes.
• Release complete and accurate production packets to manufacturing.
• Communicate instructions and updates clearly to production teams.

Fabrication Operator – Rogers, MN – Compensation: $20.00-$25.00 per hour (paid weekly). Schedule: 1st Shift | 6:00am-2:30pm, Monday-Friday. Job Type: Temporary/Contract.
