Responsibilities

• Set up and safely operate fabrication equipment, including saws, drill machines, benders, finishing equipment, deburring machines, and grinders
• Inspect products to ensure they meet customer specifications and quality requirements
• Read blueprints, use templates, and take accurate measurements using appropriate measuring tools
• Make machine and process adjustments to maintain product quality and meet required production rates
• Complete required production and process documentation accurately
• Perform routine machine maintenance, including changing saw blades and deburring brushes as needed
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area while following established safety procedures

What You’ll Do as a Fabrication Support:

• Set up and safely operate fabrication equipment, including saws, drill machines, benders, finishing equipment, deburring machines, and grinders

What You Need to Bring to the Fabrication Support Role:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous manufacturing experience is helpful, but not required
• Basic blueprint reading, math, computer, and deburring knowledge are helpful
• Good communication, coordination, and judgment skills
• Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 24 pounds and occasionally handle up to 40 pounds independently
• Ability to bend, crouch, kneel, grasp, and perform other physical activities associated with a manufacturing environment
• Ability to safely work around moving machinery and in manufacturing conditions that may include dust, fumes, odors, mists, and chemical hazards
