Job summary

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Fabrication Operator in Rogers, MN to work a first shift from 6:00am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday. The role involves generating CNC programs from shop drawings, operating panel saws, routers, and LAMs, and supporting production with accurate documentation.

Candidates should read blueprints, use CAD software and Excel, and collaborate with production teams in a fast-paced metal fabrication environment.

Qualifications

Experience operating fabrication machinery such as routers or panel saws.
Ability to read blueprints.
Familiarity with hand and power tools.
Experience with CAD software and Excel preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and follow technical instructions.
Ability to communicate effectively with production teams.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing production needs.

Responsibilities

Generate CNC programs from shop drawings using CAD software and Excel.
Operate fabrication equipment such as panel saws, routers, and LAMs.
Create assembly drawings to support production processes.
Prepare fabrication tickets for metal work operations.
Coordinate production requirements including packaging and shipping instructions.
Review and revise shop drawings based on production changes.
Release complete and accurate production packets to manufacturing.
Communicate instructions and updates clearly to production teams.
