Job summary

Job description

General Accountability / Support
  • Serve as a member of ITW Medical responsible for the quality and production of machines for distribution to customers.
  • Ensure that every machine operates according to all manufacturing instructions and operating procedures.
  • Practice and encourage courtesy and helpfulness among all team members.
  • Become fully trained in all areas of machine operation as per standard operating procedures.
  • Follow all ITW Medical rules and regulations.
  • Perform end‑of‑day clean up duties as required and any other housekeeping duties.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial inspection of manufactured parts for defects; elevate issues as required.
  • Record all shift activities by completing proper forms (job activity sheets, break sheets, etc.).
  • Communicate with the shift lead and QC inspectors.
  • Replenish raw materials when needed.
  • Report machine issues to technicians.
  • Follow good manufacturing practices.
Qualifications
  • 0–1 year(s) of experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend operating instructions and manufacturing specifications.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute ratios and percentages.
  • Corrected vision of 20/20 for visual quality inspections.
  • Basic computer skills: data entry, common searches, and use of custom business software.
Physical Demands
  • Requires physical movement around the machine area and standing for 90% of the shift.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Frequently required to reach, stoop, kneel, or crawl; and talk or hear.
  • Must frequently lift and move 10–50 pounds.
  • Specific vision requirements: close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Compensation Information

Pay Range: $16 – $22 per hour.
