Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of machine design fundamentals.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor or similar 3D CAD software.
• Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and cost-conscious design.
• Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and motion control systems.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Strong communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Design custom automation equipment and special-purpose machinery using Autodesk Inventor.
• Create 3D models, engineering drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing documentation.
• Manage projects from concept through design, fabrication, and installation.
• Collaborate with customers, vendors, controls engineers, and shop personnel.
• Review designs, delegate work, and provide technical guidance to team members.
• Support design reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement efforts.
