Aerotek is seeking a Technician to assemble, install, and test gaming machine systems. You will work from blueprints, mount components, connect wiring, and verify software/hardware performance both in shop and at customer sites.
The role combines hands-on mechanical work with travel to customer locations for installations, troubleshooting, and repairs, typically Monday–Friday with daytime hours and occasional overtime.
This role focuses on assembling, installing, and testing gaming machine systems across a designated area. You will build machines from pre-made shells, integrate and mount internal components, verify proper software and hardware performance, and troubleshoot issues at both the shop and customer locations. The position combines hands-on mechanical work, independent field installations, and detailed testing procedures to ensure each gaming system operates reliably and safely.
You join a growing operation that offers independent, hands-on work with a fun and engaging product. The environment supports autonomy, allowing you to work alone or with a small team while still having clear procedures and expectations. You benefit from a stable schedule with daytime hours, occasional overtime opportunities, and the chance to travel to a variety of customer locations. The organization values practical skills, straightforward communication, and a professional yet relaxed atmosphere where your mechanical and technical abilities are appreciated.
You primarily work in a climate-controlled shop condo within a brand-new building, where assembly and testing of gaming machines take place in a clean and organized setting. The role also involves traveling to customer sites such as bars, restaurants, casinos, and similar venues to perform installations and troubleshooting. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with the possibility of overtime depending on the number of machines and installation locations. Travel beyond a typical day trip is rare, and additional compensation is offered when overnight travel occurs. The work involves regular use of hand tools, power tools, box trucks, and a Tommy Gate lift system in both shop and field environments.
