We seek dedicated individuals for on-site assembly roles in our Colorado Springs facility, performing mechanical and simple electro-mechanical assembly with precision and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow workplace safety and product quality policies.
• Read and interpret blueprints (product specific).
• Maintain equipment and area in a clean, safe condition.

Responsibilities

• Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality.
• Successfully completes all site-specific training regarding safety and quality.
• Receives components or items for assembly and/or test in programmed sequence.
• Assembles mechanical or electrical components by means of sensitive hand and equipment coordination.
• Assembles all variations of in-house standard products.
• Follows assembly/test instructions, e.g. color code, pvc solvent welding and thread taping.
• Uses simple hand or power tools along with uncomplicated jigs and fixtures.
• Enter work hours in ERP system (Currently SAP), if applicable to site.
• Completes required documentation relative to production and quality.
• Drives continuous improvement process and conducts daily housekeeping/5S audits to ensure continuous improvement activities.
• Maintains equipment and area in a clean safe condition.

Performs repetitive plumbing and mechanical assembly or simple electro mechanical assembly involving sensitive or precise dexterous movements to maintain pace and quality of assembly work.
