Job summary

Xylem is seeking a Machine Builder onsite in Colorado Springs to perform mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly. You will follow blueprints and assembly instructions, use hand and power tools, and contribute to safe, high-quality production.

The role includes entering hours in SAP, supporting continuous improvement and daily housekeeping/5S, and working with cross-functional teams to meet customer demand and maintain equipment and process standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with repetitive plumbing and mechanical assembly.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Follows safety and quality policies.
• Accurate documentation of production and quality.
• Experience using hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical or electrical components.
• Follow assembly/test instructions including color code, solvent welding, thread taping.
• Enter work hours in SAP ERP.
• Maintain clean, safe work area; participate in 5S audits.
• Support continuous improvement activities.
