Job summary

Hydro Extrusion USA, LLC is seeking a Machine (Bender) Operator for the Fab area in North Liberty, IN. The role involves operating a milling center, inspecting material quality, and verifying drawings with calipers and micrometers to meet specifications.

You will deburr, maintain equipment, and ensure proper part numbering for shipments. The position offers starting pay of $21.25 per hour with a $1.50 shift premium, on first or second shift, permanent employment, and a benefits package including

Responsibilities

• Operate milling center as assigned by team leader.
• Check all material for defects to ensure quality.
• Gauge work piece to drawings using calipers and micrometers; stop production if quality problems arise.
• Deburr with hand tools before and after machining.
• Maintain machinery and equipment in good condition (oil, coolant).
• Ensure correct Halna and customer part numbers are marked on each package.

Starting Rate of pay

$21.25/hour

Shift Premium

$1.50/hour extra for shift differential

Shifts Available and Hours

1st shift 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM

2nd shift 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM

What you will be doing

• Operate milling center as assigned by team leader.
• Check all material for visual defects to ensure the material is not scratched, dented, bent, etc.
• Guage work piece to ensure meets drawing specifications before and after machining, as needed, with calipers, micrometers, and other necessary measuring devices. Must stop production and contact team leader when quality problems arise.
• Deburring with hand tools as necessary, before and after machining.
• Maintains machinery and equipment in good working condition, i.e. oil, coolant.
• Ensure that correct HALNA part numbers, customer part numbers, and piece counts are marked on each package that is sent to the next operation or packaged for shipment.
