Amcor - Appleton is looking for a Machine Assistant to support packaging production on a 12-hour night shift. You will act as a safety leader, ensure quality, and assist with data entry and paperwork while maintaining a clean, compliant workstation.

You will join a team focused on continuous improvement, following 5S and cross-training across departments. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and collaboration in a dynamic manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Input accurate data into our computer systems using Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Keep the facility clean by following a 5S schedule and participate in initiatives.
• Cross train in departments and on machines as needed.

Schedule

Work a job that fits your lifestyle - enjoy a 12 hour shift on a 2-2-3 night shift schedule with three day weekends every other weekend! With this schedule, you work half the month, which means half the year!

• Our starting pay is based on experience, beginning at $23.48/hour + $1.20/hour night shift premium

Your Responsibilities Include

• Act as a safety leader and put safety first in all responsibilities

• Complete all required paperwork
• Perform quality assurance checks and flag any defective material

Physical Requirements

• Work 12 hour days while walking, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and lifting
• Lift up to 50lbs and occasionally 100lbs
• Perform visual inspections using measurement devices and identifying and distinguishing colors
