Job summary

You will use torque wrenches, dial indicators, and precision levels, read imperial and metric measurements, and work from tool lists to hit tight tolerances. The position includes standard business hours, with potential for growth and process improvement contributions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of assembly experience or 5 years in manufacturing of machine tool parts.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive reaching/bending.
• Familiar with documentation, drawings, and part lists.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints.

Responsibilities

The Candidate will assemble mechanical components, ensure products meet world-class quality standards, and contribute to continuous process improvement within an innovative manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assemble mechanical components and machines according to engineering drawings, part lists, blueprints, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic schematics.
• Use precision tools such as torque wrenches, depth gauges, dial indicators, and digital levels to achieve tolerances.
• Operate overhead cranes to move heavy components safely during the assembly process.
• Follow Quality Standards and accurately measure in both imperial (inch) and metric systems.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to achieve production goals.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area in accordance with lean manufacturing principles.
• Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) consistently.
• Provide feedback and input to support continuous process improvements.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in assembly or 5 years of experience in manufacturing of machine tool parts, maintenance, or service.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without aid and perform repetitive reaching and bending.
• Familiarity with documentation, drawings, and part lists.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
• Skilled in using accurate measuring devices with strong attention to detail.
• Experience with electrical wiring assembly and computer literacy preferred.
• Forklift license a plus.
