Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in assembly or 5 years in manufacturing of machine tool parts, maintenance, or service.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive reaching and bending.
• Familiarity with documentation, drawings, and part lists; ability to read schematics and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components and machines according to engineering drawings, part lists, blueprints, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic schematics.
• Use precision tools to achieve tolerances.
• Operate overhead cranes to move heavy components safely during the assembly process.
• Follow Quality Standards and accurately measure in both imperial and metric systems.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to achieve production goals.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area per lean manufacturing principles.
• Adhere to safety protocols and use PPE consistently.
• Provide feedback to support continuous process improvements.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assemble mechanical components and machines according to engineering drawings, part lists, blueprints, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic schematics.
• Use precision tools such as torque wrenches, depth gauges, dial indicators, and digital levels to achieve tolerances.
• Operate overhead cranes to move heavy components safely during the assembly process.
• Follow Quality Standards and accurately measure in both imperial (inch) and metric systems.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to achieve production goals.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area in accordance with lean manufacturing principles.
• Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) consistently.
• Provide feedback and input to support continuous process improvements.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in assembly or 5 years of experience in manufacturing of machine tool parts, maintenance, or service.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without aid and perform repetitive reaching and bending.
• Familiarity with documentation, drawings, and part lists.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
• Skilled in using accurate measuring devices with strong attention to detail.
• Experience with electrical wiring assembly and computer literacy preferred.
