Job summary

CommIT Enterprises, Inc. seeks a Maintainer Training Subject Matter Expert to design, develop, implement, and evaluate training for MACCS family systems (CTN, CAC2S, TBMCS, ADSI, AFATDS).

The role includes on-site delivery, delta and new equipment training, and supportive technical/ instructional tasks. The candidate will perform reviews, develop curriculum, and ensure compliance with MIL-HDBK and NAVMC standards, with up to 30% travel and a Secret clearance requirement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience maintaining and configuring MACCS systems, including network admin tasks and telecom equipment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical discipline (or 4 extra years of USMC training).
• Experience with the Tactical Data Framework (TDF) setup and integration.
• At least two years configuring and maintaining tactical data links.
• Experience with Cisco router/switch hardware and IOS.
• Experience managing operating systems within virtual environments.
• Strong interpersonal and client-facing skills; excellent oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and develop new training curriculum and documentation.
• Review and update existing training curriculum and materials as needed.
• Identify instructional goals and delivery methods for effective training.
• Ensure materials comply with MIL-HDBK-29612/2A and NAVMC 1553.1A standards.
• Support development of training test packages and master lesson files.
• Conduct dry-runs, rehearsals, and technical reviews of instructional delivery.
• Deliver training using lectures, demonstrations, and practical applications.
• Use multiple training techniques and tools across various class sizes and skill levels.
