Job summary

Olympia Moving & Storage in Hyattsville, MD is seeking a MAC Technician to support office moves/adds/changes, install basic IT gear, and perform hands-on setup across client sites.

The role blends facilities support with IT installation, requires physical work including lifting, and the ability to work independently in multisite environments with travel across DC/MD/VA. Full-time, hourly position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in office setup, commercial moving, exhibit hall installation, or facilities support (required).
• Ability to lift 50 to 75 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Basic IT installation experience (computers, monitors, docking stations, peripherals).
• Valid driver’s license with experience driving a box truck or similar vehicle.
• Strong problem solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Professional communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform office Moves/Adds/Changes including relocating furniture, equipment, and supplies.
• Assemble, install, and repair office furniture (desks, chairs, shelving, conference room setups).
• Configure ergonomic workstations including sit/stand desks, monitor arms, keyboard trays, and related components.
• Support exhibit hall or event setups, including booth assembly, staging, and equipment placement.
