Job summary

Apple Inc. seeks a Systems Power Integrity Engineer to join the Mac organization.

You will support the system-level Power Distribution Network design, analysis and validation for Mac and accessories, developing and validating impedance and droop targets and verifying power quality with lab and silicon measurements. You will lead pathfinding studies during silicon development, collaborate with silicon, packaging and HW validation teams, and help define layout strategies and test suites to

Qualifications

• MS degree with 4–7 years relevant work experience.
• Proven understanding of power supply architectures, PDN modeling, and PDN trade-offs.
• Experience with 2.5D/3D full-wave tools (PowerSI, SIWave, HFSS).
• Experience with HSPICE, Spectre, AMS, and Simplis for system-level transient droop analysis.
• Understanding of die-package-board PDN co-design constraints.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance.

Responsibilities

• Support system-level PDN design, analysis and validation for Mac and accessories.
• Develop and validate impedance and transient droop targets.
• Verify power quality using lab measurements and in-situ silicon measurements.
• Lead pathfinding studies and provide feedback to silicon/packaging teams.
• Develop layout strategy guidelines and test suites for system validation.
