Job summary

Ulta Beauty MAC Specialty Artist in Goleta, CA is seeking a professional makeup artist to maximize MAC brand sales while delivering exceptional guest service in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will perform personalized makeup demonstrations, skincare consultations, and lessons; stay current on trends; build an active client portfolio; and collaborate with store teams to drive brand events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; cosmetology/demonstrator license where required by state law.
• Cosmetics artistry experience preferred.
• Strong sales, guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed MAC brand sales and service goals.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships and a growing guest list.
• Greet and engage each guest, personalize service, propose samples and add-ons.
• Conduct makeup demonstrations, applications, skincare analyses, and lessons.
• Stay informed on promotions and brand initiatives within Ulta Beauty and MAC.
• Book appointments for services and in-store events to drive guest experience and sales.
