Job summary

Ulta Beauty in Goleta, CA is seeking a Specialty Artist – MAC to maximize brand sales through expert makeup artistry, personalized service, and in-store events. You will demonstrate products, advise guests, and uphold MAC and Ulta standards to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

The role requires cosmetology training or licensing where required, cosmetics artistry experience, and strong communication. Flexible scheduling with brand trainings is offered as part of a dynamic, inclusive team

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Cosmetology or demonstrator license where required by state law.
• Cosmetics artistry experience preferred.
• Strong sales, product knowledge, and guest service skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed MAC brand sales and service goals and contribute to store goals.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships and follow up on guest inquiries.
• Conduct personalized, professional makeup demonstrations, applications, and lessons; skincare analyses; and product demonstrations.
• Stay informed on promotions and brand initiatives to drive sales and guest engagement.
• Book appointments for services and support in-store events to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
