Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Mac Engineering Manager to build an enterprise Mac platform alongside our Windows environment.

The role leads strategy and the team, ensuring Macs meet security, compliance, and support standards as the rest of the fleet.

This is a remote role requiring occasional on-site work in Bloomington, Minnesota, with responsibility for roadmap, staffing, and cross‑team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• 5+ years in endpoint management or end user computing.

Responsibilities

• Own the Mac platform roadmap from pilot through enterprise rollout and ongoing operations.
• Lead, hire, and develop Mac engineering staff as adoption grows.
• Define Mac standards for security, configuration, software, and lifecycle in partnership with Security, Identity, and Compliance.
• Test and track program eligibility within the environment.
• Ensure Macs meet audit and regulatory requirements and evidence is ready when needed.
• Build the Mac support model with the Service Desk, including training, documentation, runbooks, and escalation paths.
• Own standard patching and vulnerability remediation for Mac.
• Manage the Iru vendor relationship, licensing, and Apple Business Manager administration.
• Plan for Apple’s annual macOS release cycle so upgrades are tested and predictable.
• Track and report adoption, compliance, and support metrics to leadership.
• Coordinate Mac work with Windows, Intune, and VDI teams to deliver a consistent user experience.
