Job summary

Maximus, based in Bloomington, MN, is seeking a Mac Engineering Manager to own an enterprise Mac platform alongside our Windows environment. This hands-on leadership role sets the strategy, leads the team, and ensures Macs meet security, compliance, and support standards across the fleet.

The role requires 5+ years in endpoint management, 2+ years leading engineers, and experience running enterprise Mac programs with Iru/Kandji or Jamf Pro. Remote but on-site in Bloomington as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required.
• 5+ years in endpoint management or end-user computing.
• 2+ years leading engineers or technical teams.
• Proven experience running an enterprise Mac program alongside Windows.
• Working knowledge of Iru or Kandji, Jamf Pro, or comparable Apple MDM.
• Understanding of Apple Business Manager and macOS security.
• Strong communication skills with technical staff and business leaders.
• Ability to pass a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own the Mac platform roadmap from pilot through enterprise rollout.
• Lead, hire, and develop Mac engineering staff.
• Define Mac security, configuration, software, and lifecycle standards.
• Test and audit readiness; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Build a Mac support model with the Service Desk and runbooks.
• Coordinate Mac work with Windows/Intune/VDI teams.
• Manage the Iru vendor relationship and licensing.
• Plan for macOS release cycles and upgrades.
• Track adoption, compliance, and metrics for leadership.
